Angels

First of all, I didn’t start out asking or praying to see angels.
It just started to happen, and it's quite the experience. Isn’t it
funny that the world uses the term angels to describe venture
capital suppliers for new businesses and entrepreneurs?

Many believe, when we pray for financial blessings or provision,
that God sends angels to get the harvest and bring it to us.
Todd Bentley talks about an angel named Emma that has
shown up for him and Bob Jones at times of financial need.
And it was delivered. I have seen her also. She is one of few
Angels that appears as a woman.

The first time I saw angels was in a vision. It was in 2000 at the time
of the presidential election. When I was praying, I saw thousands of
angel wings. They were from all over the United States flying down
towards Florida. It’s as if I was standing in the middle of the country
and they covered the sky over the United States.

The 2nd time I saw angels was August of 2006. Sue and I were attending the healing conference at Sunshine Church. One day I was coming back to the conference after doing a little work. I was in my Corvette going north on the East Beltline with the top down doing about 50 mph. I always enjoy the Corvette and thoroughly believe it was a gift from God. At one point I felt led to look up, and there they were four angels. They were flying right with me, (yeah, they were doing 50 mph also) 2 just above and two just off to the side and a little lower. They appeared men with dark hair and neatly trimmed beards. They wore long white robes and appeared very tall, (about 10’ or so tall). I have seen them many times since and sometimes they don’t look as tall. I believe they are with me all the time, assigned to me by God. I think they are with me for protection and to minister peace. Sometimes when I see them, I don’t have a clue what they are doing. One time at the healing rooms, I was praying for Jim, a friend and they were there and laid hands on Jim also as if to help me pray for him.

In the living room, The day before Sue and I went to Moravian Falls North Carolina on April 4th, 2007, I wrote a letter to God and said to Him, I am expecting to see Your glory, God. I plan to see it manifest in ways I have never seen before. I am ready and willing to be astounded by what You are going to show me. The first night there, we were in bed and unbeknownst to me, Sue was sensing visitation. I said to her, the angels are here! What I saw were the four angels that are usually with me. They were on all the decks and front porch of the cabin we were staying in. I figure they were there to protect us. Then, I saw more angels all around the cabin in the woods, and they seemed busy, small ones and large ones. Then all of a sudden, Swords were drawn, and there was supernatural warfare going on, on our behalf. I saw demons, in the form of dark shadows, scurrying down the mountain and running away. God’s angels were invincible, and we were safe. The next day in the afternoon, Sue was sitting by the window in the corner drawing. I came and looked at what she had drawn, and it was part of what I saw the night before. She had already given it a name, (Where Angels Dance). That same day I also said to Sue, I wonder what kind of cool supernatural thing God is going to show me while we're here?... Sue promptly said, what do you think that was last night? Oh, yah! Dah! LOL!

Bill Johnson once said you know your mind is renewed when the supernatural seems normal. I did a word study, and the word angel is in the Bible 195 times and the word angels in the Bible 94 times. That’s a total of 289 times.

REV 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 "Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God." 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

LK 1:26 In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."

LK 1:29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."

LK 1:34 "How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?"

LK 1:35 The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. 36 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. 37 For nothing is impossible with God."

LK 1:38 "I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her. PS 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

MT 4:11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

Many people ask me, how do you see the angels or what does it look like? Sometimes, it’s strictly a vision, like the first time during the election. Sometimes, it’s more like a sense that they are around or with me. Sometimes, it’s like seeing into the invisible realm ( 2nd Heaven).

One day Sue came to me and said, honey, I have something I read that I think you may be interested in. She showed me a couple of paragraphs from a book. It’s called HORASIS, this word which occurs only twice in the Greek New Testament, refers to sight or vision in either an external or internal sense. The Greek language makes no distinction between the perception of the physical eye and the nonphysical eye; both external and internal seeing are regarded as genuine perception. We all have two sets of eyes; our physical or natural eyes, and the “eyes” of our heart with which we see into the spiritual realm. It was this second set of eyes that the apostle Paul was referring to in Ephesians 1:18 when he said: “I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened…” Those are the eyes through which we see and understand spiritual truth. The Bible says that our body is a temple for the Holy Spirit. Every temple has windows and doors. When the Lord comes to dwell in our “temple,” He likes to be able to look out His “windows.” Our eyes physical and spiritual---are the windows to our soul. So, It’s like you see everything in the natural with your physical eyes and at the same time and the same place, you see with the eyes of your heart or spiritual eyes.

MT 13:37 He answered, "The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

JN 1:50 Jesus said, "You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You shall see greater things than that." 51 He then added, "I tell you the truth, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."

HEB 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

HEB 13:1 Keep on loving each other as brothers. 2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
